Following the webinar held on May 5, please find below clarifications in response to the questions raised:

Research experience: Only the research period following the PhD is taken into account

Reference letters: Where possible, referees should be from outside UPPA

English language requirement: A minimum B2 level is required. An official certificate (e.g. IELTS, TOEFL, or equivalent) is normally expected. However, candidates without a certificate at the deadline may provide alternative evidence (e.g. studies or professional experience in English), supported by appropriate documentation (such as a letter from their current or recent employer confirming their level of English proficiency). The required level remains unchanged, and proficiency may be assessed during the selection process. Successful candidates may be asked to provide a certificate at a later stage
